What is now known as Stratton Metals was founded in 1887 as the Frank Nott Company. Beginning by recycling metal and rags, the company grew into a large wholesaler of non ferrous metals by the 1970’s. At that point in time, the management team decided to focus on wire processing and installed one of the early wire processing systems on the east coast. In 2001, Jeff and Bill Stratton purchased the company and set about making the company one of the premier wire processing facilities in the country.
